(Past Event) WestEd at the Society for Research on Educational Effectiveness (SREE) 2023 Conference

SREE Conference Event Page Image

WestEd researchers will present on a range of salient topics at the 2023 Society for Research on Educational Effectiveness (SREE), held on September 27–30, 2023, at the Renaissance Arlington Capitol View Hotel in Arlington, Virginia.

The theme for this year’s event is “Embedding Equity for Better Methods, Evidence, and Practice.” According to Program Co-Chairs Constance Lindsay from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and Laura Peck from Abt Associates, truly embedding equity into research and practice requires us to broaden our understanding of what constitutes as evidence for decision making.

At the conference, our researchers will present papers, chair and moderate sessions, and participate in panel discussions on special education, math, social-emotional learning, COVID-19 impact, higher education, literacy, linguistically minoritized students, and research-practice connections.
