WestEd’s Matt Navo will present at the 2020 Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) Special Education Convention & Expo. The convention will take place on February 5 through February 8 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon.
The presentation and Q&A session, “Rapid School Improvement: Building an MTSS Framework to Improve Special Education Outcomes,” will be held on Friday, February 7, from 2:45 to 3:45 pm, in room E145.
Navo, Director of Systems Transformation services with the Center for Prevention & Early Intervention, helps districts and schools develop strategies, structures, policies, and practices that assist in closing the achievement gap for all students.
He will discuss and answer questions about how schools and districts can use WestEd’s Four Domains for Rapid School Improvement framework to inform their efforts to support the needs of students with disabilities.
