Join WestEd at the 2022 AERA Annual Meeting

WestEd researchers will present, chair, or serve as discussants in over 40 sessions during the 2022 American Educational Research Association (AERA) Annual Meeting. The conference, to be held April 21–26, 2022 in San Diego, continues to be the largest gathering of scholars in education research, and this year features on-site and virtual sessions. This year’s theme: “Cultivating Equitable Education Systems for the 21st Century.”

Researchers will also take part in sessions at the National Council on Measurement in Education (NCME), which meets annually with AERA. NCME’s conference theme is “Turn the Page: The Next Chapter for Educational Measurement.” Virtual sessions will be broadcast on April 9, 2022, and in-person sessions from April 22–24, 2022.

WestEd operates at the nexus of research, policy, and practice, bringing the methods of systematic inquiry to help every learner grow and thrive. Every day, our researchers collaborate with education communities to help reduce opportunity gaps and promote positive outcomes for all children and adults.

Browse a comprehensive list of WestEd’s sessions below. Be sure to visit us in the AERA exhibition hall (Booth #26) to talk with our staff and learn about our career opportunities and emerging research.
