(Past Event) Carnegie Math Pathways at the 49th AMATYC Annual Conference

Webinar

Join WestEd’s Carnegie Math Pathways at the 49th American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges (AMATYC) Annual Conference in Omaha, Nebraska from November 9-12, 2023.

This year’s conference theme is “Math’s a Hit!” The conference will include a symposium about empowering faculty and providing resources to develop undergraduate research programs at their colleges. Sessions will cover topics including authentic placement and assessment practices, engaging students with math-intensive topics, promising practices for corequisite support courses, ways that racism is everyone’s (math) problem, and developing data science programs at two-year colleges.

AMATYC strives to be the leading voice and resource for excellence in mathematics education in the first two years of college by providing high quality professional development and building communities of learners for all involved in mathematics education in the first two years of college.

Join WestEd in the Exhibitor Hall (Booth #212)

Beginning in the summer of 2024, WestEd’s Carnegie Math Pathways is transitioning into the open educational resources (OER) space to increase equitable access to its solutions and to give instructors greater flexibility and ownership of the materials to help them meet the needs of students.

This exhibit will showcase Quantway and Statway OER materials, providing participants with opportunities to explore digital sample content, course overviews, and learn about the range of implementation and support resources that accompany the OER materials.
