Join WestEd for a series of listening sessions on P–20 Math Education this summer.
WestEd is interested in hearing from P–20 educators and leaders to better understand how you are thinking about challenges and opportunities in mathematics education from early childhood through college and adulthood, and what professional and institutional supports you feel would be most beneficial in enhancing mathematics teaching and learning.
To this end, WestEd is hosting a series of upcoming listening sessions with P–20 math educators.
If you work in an educational setting that puts you in proximity to problems, challenges, and opportunities related to mathematics education, join us. We’d like to learn from you!
We will be offering sessions for both K–12 and postsecondary educators and leaders. Your insights and input help inform our ongoing efforts to design and deliver high-quality, responsive mathematics support to educators and districts.
During the sessions, representatives from WestEd will invite participants to share their opinions and insights on a wide range of issues currently facing mathematics education, mathematics curriculum and pathways, instructional practices, assessment, instructional materials, professional learning for educators and leaders, special needs and populations in the mathematics classroom, unfinished learning, and more.
