Featured Speakers

Tran Keys is a Senior Research Associate at WestEd, dedicated to improving educational outcomes. With over 20 years of experience in mixed-method program evaluation and research, she helps educational leaders use data to make informed decisions. Keys leads research and technical assistance projects and creates resources to improve data use in policy and practice. Previously, she was the Executive Director of Research and Evaluation for a large K-12 district, where she managed assessments, advanced data literacy, and oversaw program evaluations to drive continuous improvement. She holds a Ph.D. in Education from the University of California, Irvine.

Ryan Huynh is a Research Associate at WestEd, where he applies both quantitative and qualitative research methods to build the capacity of local and state education agencies. He provides expertise in program evaluation, technical assistance for state partners, and coaching teams through logic model development. Huynh received a Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. in Ethnic Studies and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley. He is proud to be the first in his family to graduate high school and first to obtain a college degree.
