Overview
Angela Minnici currently holds the position of Vice President of Institutional Development, in which she formulates WestEd’s overall strategy and vision for growing a portfolio that supports children and adults from birth through workforce development, spanning research and evaluation, professional learning, and technical assistance projects. Minnici plays a pivotal role in developing and prioritizing strategic investments to foster growth in these areas. Her focus encompasses aspects such as talent acquisition and development, strategic partnerships, and product development. In her capacity, Minnici oversees a dedicated team of 15 professionals, managing both business strategy and proposal management.
Minnici’s professional journey is rooted in a strong commitment to serving others. She began her career as a public school teacher, amassing more than 2 decades of experience partnering with federal, state, and local agencies to improve the educator workforce and enhance academic, social, and emotional outcomes for students. Before joining WestEd, she held the position of Vice President of Policy, Practice, and Systems Change at American Institutes for Research (AIR). In this capacity, Minnici provided oversight for AIR’s federally funded comprehensive centers, offering technical assistance to states to improve teaching and learning.
