Additionally, Ford has been central in crafting a comprehensive 5-year outreach and engagement strategy, paving the way for continued Medicaid program expansion among LEAs in CA. His expertise extends to developing practical tools and providing effective technical assistance, which empowers LEAs to expand their school-based health programs.
Before Ford joined WestEd, his career encompassed vital roles such as program manager for the SMAA/LEA BOP program at Oakland Unified School District and senior account manager at School Business Services of California. These positions provided the experience needed to become an expert in the field, with a focus on compliance, program integrity, and revenue enhancement.
