Overview
Jonathan Dolle (he/him) is a national expert in quality improvement methodology and its application to educational systems. As Director of the Improvement Science Team, Dolle helps leaders apply quality improvement principles and methods to create just and equitable education systems.
Dolle’s work responsibilities include the design, support, and evaluation of improvement networks; the development of leaders to support organizational transformation; and the integration of subject matter, practitioner, and systems expertise to accelerate improvement.
Dolle has expertise working at the intersection of K–12 and higher education systems. He directed internal evaluation work for the Carnegie Math Pathways and led a California networked improvement community focused on offering Statway as a dual enrollment course. As part of the New Generation of Educators project and several associated initiatives funded by the S. D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation, Dolle led the technical assistance work supporting data-driven continuous improvement across 23 California State University educator preparation programs. Most recently, he evaluated the National Association of Higher Education Systems’ (NASH) transfer network and provided improvement-focused technical assistance to the Gates Foundation’s Intermediaries for Scale program.
