Overview

Tracy Huebner directs national research and outreach to enhance college and career preparedness. With over two decades of educational experience, she manages research, networks, and communications to achieve these aims. Her expertise includes evaluating educational initiatives and aligning them with academic standards. A former Spencer Fellow, Huebner collaborates on instructional practices, student career engagement, and state readiness frameworks, notably in California, Nevada, and Colorado. Partnering with Google for Education, she focused on integrating technology in teaching. Her widespread contributions advocate for educational advancement and student success.

Tracy Huebner leads the $85 million Colorado Talent Development Initiative to address COVID-induced labor shortages, in partnership with Colorado’s Office of Economic Development, impacting the entire state. In California, She has researched, written, and presented on technology-enhanced instruction, garnering national attention and spurring advancements in support of Generative AI tools for community college leaders, teachers, and learners. Huebner also managed the $650 million K12 Strong Workforce Program, enhancing nearly 5,000 career pathways and liaising with over 900 partners.

Tracy Huebner has managed impactful legacy projects, including leading the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s $19 million Teacher Practice Networks Initiative, improving college and career readiness for over 1 million K–12 teachers. She also strategized a $100 million program with Washington and Lee University, enhancing scholarships and faculty positions, doubling university applications, and improving national rankings. Additionally, Huebner contributed to the development of Dartmouth’s Arthur L. Irving Institute for Energy and Society, a $80 million initiative aiming for global influence and ensuring all undergraduates are energy-literate.
