WestEd staff Margit Birge and Nicodemus Ford will present at the 38th Annual California Conference on American Indian Education: Meeting the Challenge.
Birge and Ford, both with WestEd’s Region IX Equity Assistance Center, will present on equity issues in Indian American education.
Birge will give two presentations: “How Can School-Family Partnerships Promote Student Success?” and “Discipline Practices that Support Nurturing Learning Environments for American Indian Students.”
Ford will present on “Best Work is Life Work: Non-Cognitive Variables Framework for Student Success.”
