Tribal leaders are advocating for systemic change to improve educational outcomes for American Indian and Alaska Native students. Panelists will share ways that tribal governments and Native-serving organizations are designing and funding the nurturing of students for school, college, career, and community life.

Participants will engage in panel discussions with experts in the field, collaborate with colleagues in breakout sessions, and access information resources about approaches that are advancing educational equity for American Indian and Alaska Native students.

The Making a Difference webinar series is designed to convene and equip tribal and SEA leaders to focus on emerging innovative policies and practices that tackle persistent challenges for American Indian and Alaska Native students. The series amplifies systemic, policy-level approaches for transforming outcomes for students and supports participants in identifying action steps.

The series is presented by multiple federally funded technical assistance centers, including the Region 11, Region 13, Region 15, Region 16, and Region 17 Comprehensive Centers, and the Western Educational Equity Assistance Center (WEEAC) at WestEd.
