Overview

Annette Gregg brings extensive experience in educational leadership, focusing on enhancing outcomes for English and Multilingual Learners. As Director of the English Learner and Migrant Education Services team, Gregg oversees a comprehensive portfolio of initiatives, including research, technical assistance, and professional learning projects aimed at supporting PK–12 educators and migrant education professionals nationwide.

Gregg also leads the Quality Teaching for English Learners (QTEL) initiative, which has been successfully implemented in K–12 classrooms for more than 2 decades. Her work involves partnering with leaders at state and local levels to foster systemic change that enhances policies, programs, and instructional practices. These efforts are designed to build educator capacity, leverage the rich cultural and linguistic assets that students bring with them to school, and create inclusive environments that increase learning opportunities for all.

With more than 2 decades of experience, Gregg is known for her ability to deliver customized support, addressing the diverse needs of schools and districts across the country. Her leadership in large-scale improvement projects has focused on building capacity, promoting collective responsibility, and ensuring sustainable progress in education systems. Previously, Gregg served as an elementary school teacher, a role in which she designed and implemented instruction for significant populations of English Learners. Bilingual in Spanish and English, Gregg is deeply committed to ensuring that all educators have opportunities to develop the skills needed to help students reach their full potential.
