This two-page brief summarizes the most recent report in a series of studies on ASSISTments, a research-based online platform that allows teachers to assign and review math work, provides students with immediate feedback, and provides teachers with real-time diagnostic reports to identify the concepts that students struggle with most and the students who need additional help.

WestEd’s study examined the long-term impacts of the ASSISTments platform on student math outcomes measured at the end of 8th grade, a year after the completion of the intervention. The study also assessed whether the impacts varied across diverse student populations.
