Reviews of Instructional Materials
We create a common vision of instructional design for today’s science standards through
- reviews of lessons and units using EQuIP tools,
- reviews of assessments with the Task Screener,
- professional learning for curriculum developers, and

Selection and Implementation of Instructional Materials
Our professional learning and technical assistance helps states, districts, and schools evaluate, select, and implement instructional materials, including
- building shared understanding of features of high-quality instructional materials,
- preparing a materials selection committee,
- leading statewide or districtwide curriculum processes,
- designing high-quality assessment systems,
- planning for curriculum-based professional learning,
- supporting data collection to aid progress monitoring, and
- assisting with local adaptation of curricular programs.

State and District Partnerships
We build capacity of science leaders to develop and implement sustainable, research-based strategies for systemwide science improvement. This includes building a shared vision, taking stock of current science programs, defining actionable next steps, and coaching to move toward the shared vision.
